| Vigilance raid at local body office,Lakhanpur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kathua, Feb 3: Vigilance sleuths conducted raid at the office of Municipal Council, Lakhnapur today and seized records from there.
The raid was conducted following the complaints that some back door appointments had been made in the local body.
On the basis of the complaint vigilance sleuths conducted a raid and seized the records for scrutiny. Sources with in vigilance organization said that some anonymous complaints were received by the department in which it was alleged that some senior officers in local body had made back door appointments in lieu of hefty amounts.
Sources further said that records have been seized and scrutiny process is in progress to reach the depth of the case, adding, questioning and documentation of the appointee would also to be applied in later stage of investigation. |
