| ITI employees delegation calls on Chib | | | Jammu, Feb 4 : A delegation of J&K, ITI Employees United Front headed by president of the front Nazir Ahmed Molvi President called on Minister for Technical Education R S Chib and held detailed discussion on the long pending genuine demands of employees
During the meeting the delegation apprised the minister with their demands like Immediate holding of DPC meeting to clear the pending promotions and filling up vacant posts of Principal, Superintendent, Surveyor, Supervisor, workshop Instructor, JEs and Technical Assistants.
Other demands raised during the meeting included Enhancement of salary of academic/consolidated employees and regularization on the analogy of ReT, Principal ITl's (Sr Scale) at Srinagar and Jammu to be filled up permanently or at least by stop gap arrangement, Examination Cell of ITI should be established in the Directorate by filling up of the identified post of Deputy Director for the purpose and Lateral Entry programme should again be started for ITI pass outs trainees/employees. Delegation also urged the minister for detaching ITI employees attached under SBOTE and Polytechnics.
