| Aryans open doors for JK students | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , Feb 4 : After the declaration of class 12th result in J&K, Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges (where majority of students studying are from J&K) has opened its doors for the students of J&K.
Aryans Group has decided to select fifty students of the valley in February under scholarship plans. Giving this information to media, Monika Rana, media coordinator, Aryans Group said that scholarships would be given to students for MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Tech 1st Year & B.Tech LEET (Civil, Mechanical, CSE, EEE & ECE) courses.
The students can also apply for scholarship in M.TECH, Polytechnic, GNM, ANM,+1 & +2 which are proposed to be started in academic session 2012-13. Scholarship would be given purely on merit-cum-means basis.
She further said that the Students need to get prior registration for scholarship atwww.aryans.edu.in or call at 098762-99888 & 098765-99888.She further added that added that those students who cannot afford to pay the tuition fees can avail the benefit of the scholarship.
She also said that the scholarship amount would be between Rs.10, 000 to Rs.3, 00,000 per student. Scholarship would be given to students whose annual income is less than Rs 3 Lakh.
A part of the student's education would be funded by the College, a part by the student and rest of the part by the Bank.
Last year more than 75 meritorious students have been selected under different scholarship schemes for different courses. Scholarships worth Rs.75lakhs have already been distributed to J&k students.
It is to be mentioned that Aryans 20 acre campus is situated on Chandigarh-Patiala highway.
The group is running MBA, BBA/ BCA, B.Ed and Engineering College. Hundreds of Jammu and Kashmir students are studying in Aryans Campus. |
