| TIC Billawar organizes symposium on Drug Abuse | | | KATHUA, Feb 4: Tehsil Information Centre, Billawar today organized a symposium on Drug Abuse in the premises of Government Boys Middle School here at Kishanpur of Tehsil Billawar.
Students of Government Boys Middle School and Government Girls Middle School , Kishanpur participated with their own thoughts on the menace of Drug Abuse. Students rightly criticized the factors responsible for the fast spreading menace and emphasized on the social awareness to educate the masses especially teenagers who easily indulge in this life threatening habit. Headmistress Boys Middle School, Kishanpur was the Chief guest, whereas Headmistress, Government Girls Middle School, Kishanpur and large numbers of school students were also present in the symposium.
Pooja Devi of class 6th of Boys Middle School, Kishanpur claimed first prize, whereas Ajay Kumar of class 8th and Miss Sarika Thakur of Girls Middle School, Kishanpur bagged second and third prize respectively. |
