| Teachers allege norms violation in appointment of CRP's, ZRP's | | | EARLY TIMES Report
Rajouri, Feb 4: Govt teachers of district Rajouri have pointed towards violation of norms in appointment of CRP's (Cluster resource person) and ZRP's(Zonal resource person).
Disappointed by these appointments, a deputation of teachers of various educational zones of the district met with Chief Education officer and urged him to intervene.
Talking with early times, these teachers said that educational officials and zonal education officers are violating norms in fresh appointment of CRP and ZRP and only known candidates are selected. They said that many RET teachers have been appointed on this job while norms clearly prohibit that no RET teacher should be appointed on this task. Norms also say that any employee who has served as ZRP and CRP should not be re-appointed but many such employees have been repeated which itself is norm violation.
Teachers also alleged that many schools were already strength of teaching staff is low, some teachers from these schools have been tasked with CRP and ZRP job which will pose serious hindrances in functioning of these schools. Highlighting these issues and pick-n-choose policy, a deputation of teachers met Chief Education Officer Rajouri, Makhan lal Sharma and apprised him of the situation and urged him to intervene and to stop this violation of norms. CEO has also assured to look into the matter with stricted vigil. |
