Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 4: The enforcement staff of Drug & Food Control Organization suspended licenses of various firms including M/s Om Sai Medicate, Kot Bhalwal Jammu, M/s Aditya Medicos, Gharota, M/s Raja Medical Hall, Pouni Chak, M/s Honey Medicos, Seri Rakwal, M/s New Janta Medical Hall, Gho Manahasa, M/s Shivam Medicos, Gho Manahasa, M/s Rana Medical Centre, Gho Manahasa, M/s Dayal Medicos, Gho Manahasa, M/s Astha Care Medicos, Maralia Morh, R. S. Pura, M/s Shri Ram Medical Hall, Mill Area, Shiv Nagar, R. S. Pura, M/s Simran Medical Hall, Shahpur, Tonkawali, R. S. Pura, M/s Kamla Medicate, Palace Road, Jammu, M/s Navjeevan Medicos, Toph and M/s Jai Bhawani Medicos, Paloura. The licenses have been suspended for not maintaining sale records of drugs containing habit forming ingredients as per provision of the Drug & Cosmetic Act. 1940 & Rules there under. Lokita Khajuria, Deputy Controller, Drugs & Food, Jammu has stressed upon the need to follow the mandate of law particularly with respect to sale of drugs containing psychotropic substances. She has directed the trade fraternity to adhere to the conditions of licenses granted in their favour under the provisions of aforesaid Act & Rules. |
