| Eid celebrated with religious fervour in Rajouri | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Feb 5: The pious religious festival of Eid-milad-ul-Nabi was celebrated with religious fervor in many parts of Rajouri.
The main programme was organised in Rajouri city where a procession was taken out that started from Talab wali masjid and ended in Eid gah Gujjar Mandi.
Thousands of Muslims took part in this procession and celebrated this major festival. Many Moulana Hazrat (Molvis) from state and national level chiefly took part in this Eid programme and teached people the pathway of brotherhood, truth and honesty which are the basic teachings of Islam.
On the other hand security was beefed up in and around city and heavy deployment was made while senior police officials were keeping a close vigil over the security grid. |
