| DD Jammu organizes lecture on Ved Pal Deep | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , Feb 5 :Doordarshan (DD) Kendra, Jammu today organized "Ved Pal Deep Lecture" on the death anniversary of Ved Pal Deep, a poet, wherein Dr Veena Gupta, noted poet spoke about the philosophical elements of Ved Pal Deep's poetry.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Veena Gupta highlighted the salient features of the distinctive linguistic pattern utilized in Ved Pal's ghazal. She said that Ved Pal Deep was an open minded approach towards life and was not aware to adopting a hypocritical approach.
Shabbir Mujhahid, Director Doordarshan also attended the program and said that similar lecture series about the poets, artists and singers will be made regular feature of the Doordarshan. Programme will be telecast on tuesday evening by Doordarshan Jammu. |
