IGP- Lohia Flags off NSUI activists for legal awareness camp | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , Feb 5 : About 100 NSUI activists (Law students) went to Samba district for Legal Awareness Camp. They were flagged off by Hemant Kumar Lohia (IPS) IGP Traffic J&K along with National Youth Congress Leader Shahnawaz Choudhary and NSUI State President, J&K Uday Chib from Fountain Plaza University of Jammu. The camp is Coordinated by National Delegate NSUI, Neeraj Kundan and he also revealed that NSUI will also organise series of such camps in other areas of the State in future. Sidharth Pathania, State General Secretary and Ramansh Bilawria, General Secretary, University of Jammu also spoke on the occasion. H K Lohia appreciated the initiative taken by NSUI to aware the people about their rights and advised the NSUI activists to organise such further camps in the far flung areas of the state and also aware the people about the fundamental duties of the people along with their rights. He also stressed on the implementation of the Right to Education in real spirit and ask the activists to work for this. On the occasion, Shahnawaz Choudhary asked the NSUI activists to work hard for the welfare of the people in general and for the Students Community in particular. NSUI State President, Uday Chib while speaking said that NSUI activists will visit in the villages including Bhetal, Frailchoa, Bhatybarigarh, Mohrgarh, Dehrgarh and Skoon and will aware the people about their legal rights particularly, fundamental rights, Right to Information, Right to education, women , children and consumer rights etc. Aijaz Mehar Senior Youth Congress Leader, Aijaz Choudhary Youth congress leader. and Abhinav Sharma Youth Congress leader were also special guests on the occasion.
