| 3 days workshop held at GDC udhampur | | | Jammu , Feb 5: NSS Units of Govt Degree College (Boys) Udhampur organized three days workshop The workshop was inaugurated by the Principal of the College Dr N.K. Resutra in his inaugural address he deliberated in length about the role of NSS Volunteers in the present scenario.
During the workship a cleanliness drive of the campus was launched, symposium on the topic "National Intergration" and "Role of youth to eradicate corruption from the society'.
Besides lectures on personality development and "Eyes to see the God" were delivered by experts from ISKON Udhampur Parallel Group discussions on different topics were also held. All the NSS Volunteers participated actively with full zeal and enthusiasm. On the last day the NSS volunteers also visited the old age home and distributed school bags, note books and uniforms to the needy students. It is worth while to mention here that every year our NSS Volunteers collect donation from students and staff ot contributed items as per the requirement of orphan students residing old age home Udhampur.
Fruit was distributed among the students and old people residing there. The principal of the college Dr N.K Resutra, NSS Programme Officer Dr Udhay Bhanu and Prof Suresh Kumar Dogra, Prof Kamal Kishor and NSS Volunteers were present on the occasion |
