Twelve pilgrimage injured in Bus-tipper collision | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 5: Ten persons, including nine pilgrims, were wounded in a head on collision between two vehicles at Talwara area in Reasi district, informed sources said on Sunday. They said that a passenger vehicle i.e. Winger bearing registration number JK20-1140 carrying pilgrims, from Katra to Shiv Khori, collided with a speedy Tipper at Kharal area in Talwara leaving ten persons injured, including nine pilgrims and driver of the vehicle. On receiving information, a police team from police station Talwara rushed to the spot and they shifted injured to the District Hospital Reasi for treatment from where three seriously injured were referred to the Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for specialized treatment. Police have seized both the vehicles and registered a case against the tipper, however its driver fled away from the spot. A manhunt was launched to nab the absconding driver of the tipper. |
