JAMMU , Feb 5 : Kranti Dal youth working president Jagdish Sudan along with city president Rajinder Bhagat visited the Manda zoo to know the facilities and development by the centre and state governments.
In a press statement, Jagdish Sudan said that Manda zoo is one of the famous zoo of Jammu city but in development point of view, there is zero development by the Goverments.400-500 tourists daily visits there but presently number of tourists are decreasing continuous due to no interest by the sitting Government towards the development of zoo. It also affects the business of Jammu city. While visiting the zoo, Kranti Dal leaders found that there is less number of animals and birds for attracting the tourists.
There are only two tigers, one dear, 4-5 deer, 12-15 rabbits, one eagle, 12-15 ducks,etc.
Recently centre govt. has sanctioned 356 crores for the development of Dal lake and many more funds released for valley based tourists places but why not for Jammu tourists places ?
Kranti Dal demanded the centre as well as state Governments to release special fund for the development of Manda zoo .
