Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Feb 06: Fifteen scheduled tribe (ST) families were late last night shifted by the district administration from Sieghat in Kuntwara area of Kishtwar after shooting stones hit the village.
There was, however, no harm caused to anybody in the incident, according to official sources. Sources said soon after the stones rolled down the hill and landed at Sieghat, tehsildar Inderjeet Singh Parihar and naib-tehsildar Arun Kumar rushed to the village and shifted the families to a safer location. However, when efforts were being made to open the government school building in the area for their temporary stay, locals volunteered to accomodate them in their houses, the sources added.
