| Competition through colours for kids organized | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 6 : India Public school, Kidzee (Kathua) has organized an Inter School Drawing Competition for students of various schools of Kathua Distt.
The theme of the competition was My Favorite Cartoon/ My Favorite Festival, Save Water and Save Earth.
Students from 1st to 7th grade from 6 schools of Kathua Distt participated in this competition.
Bringing up the artist and creativity of the students and giving them a platform to nurture was the main motto of the complete program.
This was first time that IPS, Kidzee (Kathua) organized Inter- School Drawing Competition for kids where they could express themselves through the medium of colors. This competition received overwhelming response from various schools of Kathua Distt.
The students from IPS, Kidzee, Euro Kids, Army Public School, DS Heritage, Kartar Public School, and DPS participated and showcased their talent and made this event a grand success.
On this occasion chief guest was R.K Chopra (CMO) Kathua and guest of honor Banu Partap Singh, Pankaj Khajuria Astt Prof Kathua campus university of Jammu.
The motive behind this competition was to encourage the young artist from various schools to showcase their talent and depict the current happenings through their artwork.
The competition provided these students a platform to showcase their creative skills and imagination power on various environment based issues.
The competition was divided into 3 groups A, B and C.
After the program the winners from the all three groups were declared and trophy and certificates were presented to them. |
