| Unfair trade practices checked | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, 6 Feb: As per information provided by Assistant Controller, Legal Metrology, Kathua the department conducted regular market inspected different areas of Tehsil Hiranagar, Billawar and Kathua to keep a check on the unfair trade practices in the area. The department collected fine to the tune of Rs 32,100 from 20 traders, found guilty during the drive. During the checking the Metrology Department officials also appealed the traders to get their weighing and measuring instruments stamped from the department otherwise strict action will be initiated against the erring traders.Stamping fee of Rs 40,550 was also collected during the month of January, 2012. |
