| Several youth join BJP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 6: A large number of social activists and youth hailing from different areas of Jammu West constituency joined BJP on Monday at a Karyakarta Sammelan organized by District BJYM President Munish Khajuria, Ex-Corporator Chander Mohan Gupta and Conve nor WNo 33 Sat Pal Khaju ria at Rajpura, Shiv Nagar. The Karyakarta Sammelan was presided over by BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas.State General Secretary Sat Sharma, Ex-Mayor Kavinder Gupta, District President Rajesh Gupta, BJYM State President Munish Sharma and Mandal President Pushpa Wazir were also present on the occasion. The Sam melan was organized to take stock of the organizational state of the party in Jammu West keeping in view the forthcoming Local Bodies elections. In the largely attended sam melan of the party matters and local problems were threadbare discussed. Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Shamsher Singh Manhas said that the youth is the real strength of any society as well as any organization and hence the participation of the youth should be ensured for strengthening the organization. Manhas said that the future holds uncertainty and foreboding due to the Interlocutors report, Union government's soft approach towards anti-national elements and militants. |
