| Man held with illicit liquor | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 6: Police today apprehended a bootlegger at Barmeen in Ramnagar tehsil of Udhampur while he was clandestinely carrying illicit liquor. Police sources said acting on a tip-off, police intercepted a bootlegger at Barmeen and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.He was identified as Chuni Lal, son of Chandu Ram of Gordi, Barmeen. A total of 31 liquor pouches were recovered from his possession, the sources added.
A case under section 48 A of excise act was registered against him at Ramnagar police station. |
