Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 7 : Rural Women Foundation (RWF) organized an awa-reness camp at Pargwal panchyat. The awareness camp led by its state president Sunita Sharma and accompanied by its chairman Veena Rathore, Joint secy Sakndya Devi,Jyoti Bala, Joint Secy.,Jag Vijay Singh, Secy, and Romesh Singh Jasrotia,Gen. Secy. While speaking on the occasion, Sunita Sharma asked the women to come forward to know about their rights. She said that its need of the day that women must unite themselves to fight against social evils like dowry, fearless willing, domestic violence, etc. She said women could achieve this goal only by uniting themselves and through awareness & education. Speaking on the occasion, Sakndya Devi, said that by making domestic articles rural women could generate their income easily. She also asking the women to come forward and attend awareness camp to generate knowledge about these articles by which they could improve their economic condition and standard of living. Seema Pawal and Raksha Pawal,President Pagwal also addressed the gathering. There were about 250 women who attended the awareness camp including Jyoti Devi, Nirmala Kumari, Preeti Manhas, Mamta Manhas, Madhu Bala, Raj Manhas, Puja Devi, Neha Sharma, Darshana Manhas, Tonnu Devi, Nisha Devi, Pinky Devi, Kirna Manhas, Preety Devi, Sharda Devi, Reenu Devi, Neemma Devi, Suman Devi, Neelam Sharma, Shilla Devi, Monnu Devi, Krishna Devi, Jyoti Chib, Deepu Chib, Sapna Pawar, Jyoti Devi Tangotra, Mammta Devi, Parveen Kumari, Reenu Devi, etc. |
