| CVWF & Contractors Association highlights their issues | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 7 : Chenab Valley Welfare Forum (CVWF) & Contractors Association Kishtwar held a meeting under the chairmanship of Masood Ahmed Mattoo in which members discussed issues and problems of unemployed youths
The meeting was participated by a large number of Unemployment Youths and Contractors all over from Distt Kishtwar.
The participants in their speeches have strongly criticized the Management of GVK Energy Ltd for their step motherly treatment towards the youths of Kishtwar and have indulged in the violation of recruitment norms and Contractors Act.
GVK Energy Ltd has been entrusted with the responsibility to execute the Rattlee Hydel Project Drabshalla Kishtwar on BOOT basis.
Speakers alleged the company management for adopting pick and choose to favour some blue eyed and politically influential contractors. Matoo demanded that interviews of all the posts fro Hydel Project should be conducted at District Headquarters Kishtwar instead of Jammu or Delhi and has further demanded to constitute a recruitment panel under the able guidance and a supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar enabling the poor and deserving unemployment and contractors of Distt Kishtwar are not adjusted in Ratle H.E Project. |
