Jammu, July 31: In a meeting, Jammu & Kashmir Milchar Front, held under the president-ship of S.N. Ganderbali, expressed its anguish over discriminatory attitude of state government against Kashmiri migrants. This was stated here in a press release issued by the Front. The Front blamed the government of not issuing employment package to Kashmiri migrants, not releasing the remaining 50% of ex- gratia relief, not sanctioning relief to non-camp migrants, not stopping the encroachment of migrant’s problems, not paying compensation to traders and leaving many other problems unaddressed, adding that this has made the life of these people miserable. The Front threatened of launching an agitation in case these demands are not addressed, the release added. Ganderbali, in his press release slammed the government for taking the migrants for a rideand making false claims that without Kashmiri Pandits Kashmir and Kashmir-iyat are incomplete, the release added. General Secretary of the Front Kuldeep Kumar Rao alleged that a delegation of the front had met the former Chief Minister Mufti Mohd. Syed and a visiting Central Team on 2nd March 2004 and 21st December 2004 respectively, explaining the misery these migrants due to their problems at length with no consequence adding in the release, an appeal to the present Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to ameliorate these problems
