| Skill development programmes on computer basics concludes | | | JAMMU, Feb 7 : A Skill Development programmes on Computer Basics concluded at SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Udhampur . Manohar Lal, DDM, NABARD, Udhampur was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme was sponsored by NABARD. Under the programmes 25 rural unemployed youth were provided training for 45 days in computer basics. Kishore Satlholra, LDM, SBI, Udhampur were also present on the occasion. Manohar Lal informed that the programme would give comprehensive knowledge about the basic of computers like difference between hardware and software basic structure of computer, various parts of computer and their functions, introduction of Windows XP, Introduction of office 2007 and Microsoft Word, MS Word -Insert and Page Layout Menu- Typing etc.
He informed that the programme had two aspects viz. theory and practical. Apart from computer banks, a few sessions on Behavioral Science such as Achievement Motivation - confidence building, definition and other aspects or Entrepreneurship Development case exercises, etc.
There area such as book keeping, various policies and schemes pertaining to banking and government sectors were also part of the curriculum. |
