| HEM Society Rajouri celebrated its 32nd Annual Day | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Feb 7: The famous and one of the top educational branch of Rajouri, HEM (Himalayan Education Mission society) today celebrated its 32nd Annual Day with zeal and enthuism.
On this occassion, a programme was organised in the campus of HEM Degree college Thandikassi. Chairman of J&K State Board of School Education Sheikh Bashir Ahmed was present as chief guest while District Development Commissioner GA Khwaja, Chief Education Officer ML Sharma chiefly took part in the programme. A large number of senior citizents, dignitries and officials attented the function who include Principal Govt PG college Rajouri Mushtaq Lone, Principal Hr Sec Boys Rajouri Pradeep Sharma, BJP State Sect Vibodh Gupta, Principal DIET Rajouri Saif-u-din, BJP Sr leader Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Sr PDP leader Adv. Qamar Chowdhary, AC Defence Farooq Shah, DEPO Arif Malik and other dignitries attended the function.
In the inagural part of the function, students of the institution presented the theme song of HEM after which national patriotic song and other cultural items were presented. In the middle part of the function, awards and prizes were given to meritorious students and their parents were also awarded on this occassion.
Later chief guests including Chairman JK BOSE Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, DDC Rajouri GA Khwaja, CEO Rajouri ML Sharma addressed the function and appreciated the good job of faculty and management of this educational society who has brought laurels to Rajouri and has uplifeted the educational standard in the area. At the end Gen Sect of HEM Society Salim Wani, Managing Director Muslim Wani and Founder Patron of HEM Farooq Muztar presented vote of thanks.
Addressing the annual day function, Founder Patron Farroq Muztar said that he started HEM school as a kindergarten and then with the support of locals this school got uplifted and later converted into a big educational society and now it has HEM High school, HEM Hr Sec School, HEM Degree college, HEM Bed College, ETT branch and IGNOU branch under its banner.
It also has several institutions in the rural areas of the district. |
