Madhu Param Hans Ji delivers religious discourse | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 7: Showering his grace of nectarian spiritualism, Sh. Madhu Param Hans Ji, the Satguru of Sahib Bandgi Panth, during the course of his religious discourse at Sant Ashram, Ranjri, on the eve of Purnima, said that sometimes some people say that worship will give power & strength to the soul. This is certainly not so. This is because if the soul needs some external thing, the thing itself will become more powerful than it. If the worship can make the soul strong, the worship will be taken as more powerful than the soul. But the fact is that nothing in the entire Brahmand is greater than the soul as it is the part of Param Purush. It needs no kind of external support. If it is so, what is the need then to meditate & worship. Let's give a thought to it. Worship & meditation won't give strength to the soul. They will simply remove the dirt & filth of Munn-Maya that has collected on it. This will help the soul to know its real-self. There is need to think over as to who should we meditate on. Fixing of concentration is a very unique thing. One inculcates the qualities of him on whom one fixes one's concentration. Just as a seed has the property of sprouting but it needs irrigation & other necessary facilities so develop the same. If it is sown in a closed door, it won't be able to sprout even inspite of providing all other needed facilities. This is because it has failed to receive the sunlight. This soul has everything in itself. All that is needed is to remove the layers of dirt & filth of Munn-Maya from it. It can regain its real form with the power of guru's surti (concentration). That is why even the shastras have talked about fixing of concentration at the guru. At no place the devotees have been asked to meditate for God. We can fix our concentration at one whom we have seen. So we won't be able to fix our concentration on one whom we have never seen. As we haven't seen God, it is not possible to meditate on Him. So leaving aside all our misconceptions & doubts, we should worship the guru alone & should fix our concentration at him. Devi deval jagat mein, kotin poojat koye. Satguru ki pooja kiye, sub ki poja hoye. The worship of the satguru is equivalent to the worship of whole of the Brahmand. In fact, a guru is the representative of God. |
