| Mankotia launches construction work | | | Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Feb 7: MLA Udhampur , Balwant Singh Mankotia launched the construction work of lane drain at ward no 11, Raghunath Pura Shiv Nagar in Udhampur here today. While addressing the gathering, Mankotia said that the work of this lane and drain would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs. 2.50 lakh. He directed the officer concern and engineering wing of local body to ensure quality work in a time bound manner. He further said that Rs. 35.00 lakh has also been released for the completion of pending work of Multipurpose Hall near Military Hospital Udhampur and the work would be completed before ending March this year.
Mankotia further disclosed that an amount of Rs. 1.70 Crore would be spent for the development of Udhampur town including Shaeed Bhagat Singh Park, in the heart of Udhampur town before ending March.
Large number of prominent people of Udhampur town were present on the occasion including former Vice President Udhampur Municipal Council, Parladh Singh. |
