| SKF demands probe in fake ration card scam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 7: Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K and Jagti Tenement Committee, Nagrota, Jammu have alleged that the Relief Organisation by granting/paying crores of rupees every month to the fake relief ration card holders is looting the exchequer of the state and the central government. Addressing a press conference here today, Vijay Koul said that the open loot by the Relief Organization needs to be probed.
Koul said that the investigation of the same need to be entrusted to the Crime Branch, as the number of such fake ration card holders run in thousands, and responsible for this are some of the officials of the relief organisation, zonal officers and camp commandants. Due to this position the poor migrants have been put to the sufferings, Koul said adding that none of the Kashmiri Pandit is playing truant with the government.
He appealed the Governor to punish all such officials and officers of Relief Organisation who are involved in this racket and at the same time all the fake ration cards should be blocked. |
