DLF demands allotment of govt quarters to employees | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 7: Dogra Liberation Front (DLF) held a meeting at its party office under the chairmanship of President Dr K.R. Deep to discuss about various problem and issues being faced by the employees of civil secretariat. The DLF activists said that the employees are not getting allotment government quarters under control of Estate department even though fresh physical verification has been started by the department for the last one week. He criticized the department for not identifying the culprits who have given their quarters on rent and demanded strict action against the violators who violate the Estate rules. Speaking on the occasion, Deep alleged that hundreds of employees are in que and waiting for their allotment but the officials of the department were seems very helpless to identify the violators even the department is not interested to mitigate the problems of employees who forced to find out other alternate. He appealed to the chief minister Omar Abdullah to intervene in the matter and asked the concerned department to show their honesty in fresh physical verification launched by the Estate department. He further said that if concerned department fails to identify the violators otherwise the Front would launch a protest demonstration against the department at various places in Jammu city. Meanwhile, the Front also appealed to the employees to come forward so that the problem should be sorted out in a proper manner.
