Kamal uttering affronts Congress again | Leadership asks him not to poke 'ugly' nose in Congress' affairs | | Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 7: In what can once again start bickering and differences between the two coalition partners National Conference and Congress, NC leader and Uncle of Chief MinisterOmar Abdullah, Dr Mustafa Kamal has been snubbed by the senior Functionaries of the JKPCC for having commented 'unpleasant remarks' against the Congress party and its leadership. In a hard hitting statement Mustafa Kamal has asked in categorical tone that he should be concerned only about fate and future of his own party instead of poking his 'ugly' nose in the affairs of the Congress. The tone and tenor of the Congress statement which reflects anger and annoyance against the senior leader of NC and family member of Abdullahs has come from no less senior politician and functionary- Senior Vice President JKPCC Dharam Pal Sharma . Sharma has rubbished the statements of Dr. Mustafa Kamal in which he has criticized and made some 'undesired' comments against the Congress party and its leadership. Taking Kamal's attitude as a fresh affront, Congress leadership has expressed unhappiness and conveying utmost displeasure over what he is uttering again and again against the Congress. The tone of the Congress statements denotes everything, asking NC leader in harsh words to better refrain and 'shut up', albeit of course without using this expression. In what it looks like the bickering between two rival parties , which are ironically the alliance partners, the senior leader of Congress Sharma has termed these statements as utterances of a frustrated politician which is mainly because of the growing strength and popularity of the Congress party in all three regions of the state." Some leaders like Mustafa Kamal are 'unnerved' and 'uncomfortable' because of the role being played by the President JKPCC Prof. Saifuddin Soz in strengthening the Congress party, as a result it is getting wider acceptability day by day in Kashmir region as well", Sharma observed in the statement against Kamal today. On a warning note, the Congress leader asked Dr. Mustafa Kamal to take care about the fate and future of his own party than poking his 'ugly' nose into the affairs of the Congress party. It is pertinent to mention that it is for the second time that Congress has rebuffed and snubbed the NC leader for almost similar 'charges' of speaking against the party, despite his party being in alliance with it in the coalition. It was recently when the uttering by Kamal against Congress, not sparing the high command reached its crescendo that he had to lose his job as chief Spokesperson of the party at the hands of his brother and Union Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah, who happens to be the chief of NC. |
