| SSH urges PHE minister to roll back hike in AWC | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 8: The Shiv Sena Hindustan had criticized the PHE minister for hiking the annual water domestic charges from Rs 300 to Rs 800/-.
In this regard a meeting of the party leaders was held under the State Vice president, Vikrant Kapoor in which it was urged to the PHE Minister to roll back such exorbitant hike.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that it is very unfortunate that the government had allowed the PHE Minister for such exorbitant hike as the department failed to supply water in summers and people had to purchase the water from private tankers. Whereas out of 365 days many days there remain problem in PHE motors due to which water cannot be supplied to people.\
The SSH leaders further urged the Minister to roll back this hike otherwise they would be forced to come on roads to provide some relief to people.
Among others who participated in the meet were Rajan Gupta, Shiv Kumar, Vikas Dewan and Vivek Sharma. |
