JAMMU |JAN 17 Seva Dal workers under the chairmanship of Balvinder Singh Sambyal held a meeting at the PCC headquarters today to condole the death of Sohan Singh retired Chief Conservator of Forests. The speakers at the meeting recalled the services of late Sohan Singh and said that the deceased was an honest officer and remained associated with several social and religious organizations. Sambyal said that the deceased would be remembered as an honest social worker and a good administration and paid sympathies with the bereaved family. Others who condoled the death included Harinder Singh S S Jamwal, Karamat Malik, Anil Sharma, J K Kaul, D K Mehta, SS Chib, Rajni Sharma, Kamleash Bassi, Anuradha Sharma, Rajesh Gupta, Anil Sharma and Kishni Raina. In the meantime SOS, an International Organization of PoK Refugees in its emergent meeting deeply mourned the death of Sohan Singh, Vice Chairman SOS International and editorial Advisor weekly Refugee Message. The members recalled his services to the organization, of which he was a close associate and source of great strength .The meeting felt that with his death, the Organization suffered a great loss adding that he would be remembered for long for his service to the Organization. The meeting also passed a resolution condoling the death and observed two-minute silence in memory of the departed soul and prayed for his eternal peace. Rajiv Chuni Chairman, Yash Pal Gupta, Dr Gurmeet Singh, Y R Gupta, R K Kohli, Jagan Nath Thapper, Lalit Kumar, Om Prakash, K D Raina, Dr Kulwant Singh, Anil Gupta, Pradeep, Dr Ram Chander and Master Pradeep attended the meeting.
