Coalition govt failed to fulfil aspirations of employees: ANC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 8: Criticizing the coalition Government ruling the state, Senior Vice President of Jammu Kashmir Awami National Conference (ANC) Muzaffar Shah said that the present dispensation has failed to fulfil its commitments towards the demands of the employees (both Govt. and PSUs). Shah today strongly condemned the state coalition Government for failing to its commitments towards the genuine demands of state PDD Daily wager employees, agitating for their legitimate right of confirmation of jobs from 20 years. Shah urged all parties to come forward in hammering out a formula to the satisfaction of the aggrieved employees. Shah said the Govt. had entered into an agreement with the representatives of the state Govt. PUS'S employees, but it backed out from its own promise, forcing the employees to go on continuous hunger strike, agitation for regularization of daily wage service into regular wages, the daily wagers for the last 57 days for regularization. Shah said, if the state Govt was aware that it had no resources to meet the demands of employees on the arrear front, why did it enter into an agreement with them ? the Govt Should have envisaged ,in advance , that it would not be able to find the funds to meet these demands of the state employees.JKANC Sr. Vice President Muzaffar Shah declared its full support to PDD Daily wagers for strengthening their protest demonstration for the regularization of all the daily wagers who have completed their seven years of service. |
