Protesting KP youths demand implementation of PMs job package | | | Early Times report Jammu, Feb 8: About 50 Kashmiri Pandit youths today protested against the Central and the state governments in this winter capital demanding implementation of Prime Minister's Employ-ement Package for Kashmiri migrants. Shouting slogans, the KP youths under the banner of Kashmiri Migrant Selectee Committee this afte-rnoon assembled outside the office of the Relief Comm-issioner and demonstrated for not providing relief to them announced under PM's Employment Package. 'It is unfortunate that two years have gone by when the Prime Minister announced employment package for displaced Kashmiri migrants but till date, the state government has not been able to implement it on the ground,' Sanjay Koul-a Kashmiri Youth leader said. He said the youth are getting over-aged and the implementation process is still being lingered on. 'We want that government should implement the employment package as earliest so that the Kashmiri youths are benefitted and earn for their livelihood,' he added. |
