| Make public fact finding report of CB, demands Tarigami Copying case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 9: CPI (M) State Secretary and MLA Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami urged the government to make public the fact finding report of the Crime Branch regarding the copying case of the Education Minister's foster son.
In a press statement issued here today, Tarigami expressed concern over the issue and said that it has cast aspersions on the functioning of the Board of School Education (BOSE).
He said that for quite some time there have been serious complaints about malfunctioning, nepotism and corruption in this institution which once enjoyed great reputation.
People have complained that the exam centers are being virtually put on sale and money changes hands while appointing the supervisory staff. Such institutions which can make or mar the careers of our youth need through overhauling and cleansing.
Tarigami said, keeping the sensitivity of the matter and people's deep concern in view the Chief Minister is expected to take suitable action in the matter. |
