Sports House toilets in poor condition | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 9: The Sports House, where from heads of state's two important sports organizations of State Sports Council and Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) operates, lacked basic public utility services. What to talk of bath rooms, these two offices are without proper urinals and toilets for the visitors, including the lower rank officials. Since, the heads of the organizations and a few senior officers have attached bath room, they are hardly bothered about the common visitors to the Sports House. On a visit to the Sports Council office, it was found that the toilet was full of filth and foul smell where one cannot stand for even a while. There was no water to wash the hands. The story at the DYSS office was different from Council. In view of pitiful condition, both the toilets were locked by the administration. On being contacted, Sports Officer of the Sports Council, Rajan Sharma said that there was no water supply today to the Sports House, so the toilets could not be cleaned by the sweeper. |
