| 3 medals for Ishfaq of J&K in Asian Dragon Boating | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 9: Part of the Indian Dragon Boating team, Ishfaq Ahmed Kand of Jammu and Kashmir has won three medals, including two silver in the Asian Championship held at Thailand. In all, the Indian team bagged nine medals, including of six silver and three bronze in different team and individual events. Furthermore, the Indian team was led by Umar Rafiq of J&K as chief coach. He had imparted training to the Indian team (men and women) during a special coaching camp at H2o water sports centre Mumbai. |
