| KVIB organizes awareness camp | | | early times report
REASI, Feb 9: District Khadi and Village Indu-stries Board (KVIB) Reasi organized an awar-eness camp under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) at ITI Complex Reasi here today.
District Development Commissioner Reasi, Sheetal Nanda presided over the function. Addre-ssing trainees of ITI and unemployment youths, the DDC called upon them to take maximum benefits by availing loan facilities under PMEGP in establishing their own units to stand on their own feet as the scope in getting government jobs was very limited. Dy. Chief Execu-tive Officer KVIB Jam-mu, P.K Nargotra gave a detailed account of trades and incentives being provided to the entrepreneurs under PMEGP besides the achievements registered in the district by the agency in extending their services to the rural and poor in particular. Among others, Lead District Manager SBI Reasi, District Officer KVIB, Reasi, District Cluster Head J&K Bank Reasi, General Manager DIC, Superintendent ITI, prominent citizens, and Panches were also present on the occasion. |
