| GLDMC organizes HIV/AIDS awareness rally | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Hiranagar, Feb 9: An impressive rally for the awareness and prevention of HIV/AIDS was taken out by the students of Girddri Lal Dogra Memorial Degree College Hiranagar here today. Spokesperson of college said that the rally was organized by the Red Ribbon Club of the College under the convenorship of Dr Neeraj Gupta and the rally was sponsored by the J&K State AIDS Prevention & Control Society.
Earlier the Principal of the College Dr Ram Krishan addressed the students and exhorted youth to play an active role in spreading awareness about the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS.
Then he flagged off the rally in which 500 students participated. Students holding the banner & placards about HIV/AIDS prevention and precautions marched through the market of the Hiranagar.
The rally was accompanied by Dr Neeraj Gupta., Prof Rachna, Dr T K Sharma, Prof Daya Vilas, Prof Shalini Rana and others. |
