| Congress high command asks PCC chief to furnish report about examgate | | | Early Times Report
New Delhi, Feb 9: The congress high command on Thursday asked jammu and kashmir Pradesh congress president Saif-ud-din Soz to furnish details of the state education minister Peerzada Mohammad sayeed's involvement in the cheating of his foster son in the board exams in 2009 in connivance with the officials of the state board and education department.
The PCC chief's report would be put before the AICC president Sonia Gandhi as soon as she returns from Mumbai , it is learnt.
The crime branch of jammu and Kashmir police has indicted the minister education for helping his foster Son Imam Soban Bhat in resorting to cheating in the board exams for class 10 in 2009 .The crime branch report also charged officials of state board of school education and officials of education department responsible for facilitating the foster son of the minister to copy in the class 10th exams.
Meanwhile Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who arrived in New Delhi today is expected to discuss the recent disclosures of corruption charges against some minister in Jammu and Kashmir with congress leadership. |
