JAMMU, Feb 10: The entry of world famous off-road and All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) manufacturing company-Polaris in Jammu and Kashmir would help in boosting the adventure sports in this mountainous and snow clad part of the country.
Besides other off-road vehicles, the specially designed `Sportsman' ATV of the company displayed at its authorised dealership of Trikuta Motors, here have the potential to attract the adventure lover youth in J&K.
"Polaris Sportsman range of ATVs is the best way to enjoy the outdoors. There are affectionately termed `quad-bikes'.
Through rain or snow, flat or hilly terrain, out ATVs perform at optimum levels no matter what the region or the season. I'm, confident that this double seater vehicle definitely going to be a hit among the adventure sports lovers of the state," said Manik Batra, Director of Trikuta Motors.
He said the entire range of the Polaris off road and ATVs would be available for test driving for two days i.e. February 11 and February 12 from 10 am onwards at Thandi Khui in Lakhanpur-Jammu National Highway.
Earlier, Managing Director of Polaris India Private Limited, Pankaj Dubey informed that the single seat 50 to 90 cc off-road vehicles are also available, especially for the age group between 6 year to 18 years. "For the single seat 50 to 90 CC off road vehicles one does not require a driving license," he disclosed.
J&K is Palaris India's eighth of the total 10 dealerships planned by the company after making inroads in India.
