NDKM stage play "LAAILAAJ" | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 10: Nav Durga Kala Manch ( NDKM) today staged Shashi Bhushan's play "Laailaaj" at Performing Art Studio, Jammu. The play was directed by Aaditya Bhanu. Kumar'A' Bharti, well known theatrist was presided over the function as a chief guest. The plot of the play revolved around the deadly disease AIDS. In this play, five major reasons were highlighted with full ease.The play was very much tinted about AIDS, its causes, prevention and control. Most of the peoples aware about AIDS but they only know only one cause that is through sex but still there are many reasons which are responsible for this disease. The play starts with the central character named "Sutradhar" who aware the general public as he was hired by a local prevention control society. There he highlighted the major cause of being AIDS by showing different stories. First story was that a boy reported HIV+ after his medical treatment but his brother and his doctor were in shocked state of mind that how this disease entered in his brother. During diagnosis, they came to know that some years ago, his brother had met with an accident, then near about 4 to 7 peoples were came to give him blood. There, minor mistakes by his brother makes this disease happened to him because the blood was not being tested by him and one of the donor who diseased with AIDS give him blood. There the Sutradhar, aware the audience that if HIV+ happens to your dear one's, they should not be panic and make distance with that infected person. What they do is to give him fresh vegetables, fruits, tell him to do exercise and go to IRT centre for his regular checkup. He also told the audience that this disease happened only through blood. So make sure if you are going to saloon, they must see the blade that it was not being used by the other one and during injection, they should see that the needle is sterilized or not. These small preventions make this disease away from humanity one day. The artists who performed in the play are Dilshad Shazi, Tarun Sharma, Kamaljit Singh, Shodhya Sharma, Atul Sharma, Kannav Chopra. Lights were executed by Amit Sharma. |
