| Farewell party organized in GDC Poonch | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Feb 10: Teaching faculty of Govt. Degree College Poonch today organized a farewell party in honour of Dr. Syed Aftab Hussain Shah, Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Tasleem Araf Cash, Assistant Professor of Economics.
These two faculty members have been selected in the Central University of Kashmir as Assistant Professors in their respective subjects.
A small colourful programme was conducted by Dr. Mohammad Latief Mir in the Audio-Visual Lab. of the department of Geography.
Prof. G.L.Sharma, Principal of the College presided over the function. Members of the teaching faculty arranged a lunch in the honour of the two outgoing collegues. Worthy principal lauded the contributions of these outgoing members of the teaching faculty in the field of higher education especially in this hilly and remote area of J&K state.
Dr. Muneer Hussain, Dr. Aurandzeb Anjum, Prof. Khadam Hussain, Dr. Shamim Banday and Prof. Zakir Hussain also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Syed Wajahat Hussain, Staff Secretary of the College presented a vote of thanks. |
