Peerzada supporters raise anti NC, anti Omar slogans
Anger in Cong camp...trouble brewing up against NC...?

Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 10: With Education Minister Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed stepping down finally this evening, it is not an 'all over game', or a 'chapter wound up' for the NC led government in the state. Peerzada may have well resigned as 'desired' by the party high command but the entire Congress camp, at least at the local level is not 'happy' the way the 'maligning campaign' over corruption against its ministers has been intensified. At least this was what the mood suggested this evening at the official residence of Peerzada soon after he forwarded his resignation to party high command. Angry supporters and even middle rung cadres raised anti government led by Omar Abdullah and anti NC slogans and on a 'warning' note shouted Peerzada became a victim of 'conspiracy' at work against Congress ministers.
After maintaining distance from the Education Minister for two days after Crime Branch submitted its report to Chief Minister, some of the party ministers and MLAs from both the alliance partners came to meet him in the afternoon. Sources said some of the leaders who had come from Kashmir and even a couple of ministers tried to 'sympathise' with Peerzada and the latter tried to convince while explaining that he was 'innocent' in the matter. What came as a rude shock to the political corridors and NC in particular is the fact that Peerzada instead of submitting his resignation to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah or routing it PCC leadership, directly sent it to the Party High Command, it being addressed to the president Sonia Gandhi.
Soon after the move, a sizable number of supporters who had gathered inside the residence of the Minister raised slogans against the government and NC in particular in an angry mood and even threatened that they would organize more protests at a large scale over what they termed as a big 'conspiracy' against the Minister and Congress as a whole. "Yeh Sajish Ki Gai Hai…….Woh Iska Beta Nahin Hai……(He has become victim of conspiracy….Imam is not his real son instead adopted by Peerzada who was not even living with him), one of the supporters said while shouting against the move. However, what can be seen as some trouble brewing up for NC within the Congress was the fact that few Congress functionaries have started saying it openly that government is conducting itself in a way as if only Congress ministers were corrupt and indulging in corrupt practices and NC camp was 'all clean'. Some of the supporters in angry mood even raised the fingers at NC like opposition has been doing , over the NC's silence over Haji Yousuf case. "Kya NC Main Koi Chor Nahin Hai…….? Haji Yousug katal Main Istifa kisi Nay Kyon Nahin Diya….? (Is everyone so clean in NC……why no one gave resignation over the murder of Haji Yousf ….?) , one of the supporters questioned.
