| 43 RASHTRIYA RIFLES TO CELEBRATE ITS 6TH RAISING DAY. | | | | Rajouri: July 31 43 Rashtriya Rifles Battalion is celebrating its 6th Raising Day tomorrow with traditional fervour and Gaiety. The Battalion since raising has been deployed in Rajouri Distt for Counter terrorism Operations. The Battalion since its raising has killed 61 terrorists ,apprehended two terrorists and neutralized 12 OGW’S, Two officers and Nine Jawans have made the supreme sacrifice While performing their duties in the highest traditions of the Indian Army.The unit has been awarded 07 sena Medals ,32 COAS Commendation Cards and 08 GOC-in-C Commendation cards. The Battalion was also awarded GOC –in-C Northern Command Unit Appreciation for the relentless efforts and exemplary professional competence for bringing normalcy in their area of responsibility. |
