TP challaned 50 vehicles during special mobile naka | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Feb 11: Traffic Police (TP) Rajouri today conducted a special mobile traffic naka in the area during which a large number of vehicles violating traffic norms were challaned. This mobile naka team placed check points on more than five busy places of the area. This mobile party of traffic police was supervised by DySP Traffic (Rajouri-Poonch zone) Khalid Amin. About 15 vehicles were challaned in Gujjar Mandi chowk and later vehicles were also challaned in Panja chowk, Salani chowk, Dak bungalow road. The main emphasis was given on young bikers who drive mobike without driving licenses and helmets. Two wheelers plying with triple riding were also dealt under law. Within just three hours of this high profile traffic naka, sleuths of traffic police challaned more than 50 vehicles while the procedure was on when the last reports came in. When DySP Traffic Khalid Amin was contacted, he said that Rajouri unit of traffic police is dealing with the menace of traffic laws violations with best possible means and mobile naka are proving quite beneficial in this way. He also pointed towards bad behaviour of youngsters who drive two wheelers on road without attaining the age of 18 and without having proper driving licenses and other necessary documents. |
