INIFD return after educational trip to Goa, Bombay and Delhi | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 11: The Students of all streams of INIFD (International Institute of Fashion Design) - Fashion, Textile, Interior Design, MBA, BBA departments have returned after attending a 10 days long educational trip to Goa, Bombay & Delhi. The Interior Design students experienced the architecture of Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai that has become famous for combining, Islamic & European renaissance architecture. The Prince of Wales Museum, Mumbai exhibits a rich collection from preprints history, they exhibit a rare collection of objects from Indus civilization. The Gateway of India, most famous monument, it was built as a triumphal arch to commemorate. The Fashion design department studied more than 400 craftsmen from every corner of the country at Surajkund Mela 2012 at U.P, be it in the store of leather puppet, wood carving, Cheriyal Painting, Pearl & Jewellery, Kalamkari, Jand Painting, Sarees or the stall of Zari Textile Bamboo Craft, Madhubani Painting, Dhokee, Kalamkari, Photocase etc. The students visited Candolim, Anjana, Vegator, Calangute beach in Goa and a famous Basilica Church in Goa, they had a great time in Princesa - de- Cruise in Goa and enjoyed at Essel World, Water Kingdom, Juhu Beach etc in Mumbai. The trip concluded with the visiting of Lakshmi Temple & Hazi Ali Dargah. Vanita Thakur, chairperson of INIFD said with such activities the students become aware of the surroundings. |
