| DUDA computer centre inaugurated at Hiranagar | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Feb 11: Project Officer, District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) Kathua Jaffar Abass today inaugurated computer centre in Hiranagar.
Speaking on this occasion, Jaffar Abass said that opening of training centres in the area will provide youth opportunities to learn new technology related issues and will create more job avenues.
He also highlighted the importance of such training centres and asked the candidates to take full benefit of the institute.
The Project officer Kathua Mr Jaffar Abbass highlighted the various schemes being offered by the District Urban Development Agency and asked the youth to make full use of the facilities made available by the department.
He explained about the schemes of Urban Self employment where the beneficiary could get a maximum of 2 lakh with a subsidy of 25% of the project cost to start their own units. The scheme of Urban women Self Help Program where a group of women can get subsidy upto 35% of the project cost. He highlighted the various skills training program in various trades being sponsored by the Dept.
He asked the students to come forward with project proposal to start their own units. He also asked the public to come forward and learn new courses being offered in the year 2011-12. He said that the schemes are aimed to benefit BPL and unemployed youths of state. |
