Man impersonating CRPF SI held with fake appointment orders | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 11: A man accused of impersonating a CRPF sub-inspector (SI) was apprehended by police here today along with fake appointment letters. He also alleged to have duped unemployed youth of lakhs of rupees for providing them jobs in CRPF, according to police sources. He was identified as Narinder Kumar, son of Rattan Lal of Rajwal. He is an expelled CRPF cop. Sources said the matter came to light after one Anil Sharma of Akhnoor approached police, alleging that he was duped of lakhs of rupees by Narinder for providing him a job in CRPF. Acting on this complaint, police raided Narinder's residence at Rajwal and took him into custody. Some fake appointment letters, uniform of CRPF SI and an identity card were allegedly recovered from his possession, the sources added. Police had registered a case against him under sections 420, 467 and 468 of RPC. |
