| Power shut down | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 11 : In order to carry out the work of replacement of damaged conductor of circuit-I between Gantry and Location No. 1, the shutdown of 132 KV D/C Gladni-Hiranagar Trans. Line in between Galdni-Bari-Brahamna II on February 12, 2012 from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. is allowed. As intimated by the Chief Engineer, S&O Wing Jammu, power supply to any of the area shall not be affected. In order to carry out the urgent preventive maintenance work of 220KV D/C Barn-Kishenpur transmission line, the shut down 220KV D/C Barn-Kishe npur transmission line is allowed. In Circuit-I on 13 February, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in Circuit II on 14 February, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. As intimated by the Chief Engineer, S&O Wing Jammu, the power supply shall not be affected as one circuit shall remain on when the other circuit shall be under shutdown. Similarly in order to carry out the installation of 33 KV CT/PT units for Ring Fencing of Jammu Town, the power supply to the Industries being fed from 3 x 10 MVA 33/11 KV R/Stn, Bari- Brha mana town Kaluchak and MES etc on February 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. fed from 33 KV lines will remain affected. Meanwhile, in order to carry out the works in connection with of R/Stn Gangyal, the power supply to the Gangyal Industrial Area, Preet Nagar, Model Town, Trikuta Nagar and adjoining areas on February 12 fed from 33KV lines will remain affected. |
