| Lt. Col killed, 7 injured in separate road accident | | | Srinagar, Jan 17 An Army officer was killed and three others were injured when their official vehicle skidded off the road at Dever Pattan, while four persons were critically injured in a Sumo accident at Pampore. Informed sources told News Agency of Kashmir that an Army vehicle with jawans and Lt.Colonel of 150Bn of Territorial Army on board, bearing Regt No: 04B-0873734 skidded off the road near Dever Crossing resulting in injuries to four jawans. The injured were hospitalized in 92 Base Hospital, where Lt. Colonel K.K. Donghi succumbed to his injuries. A Case has been registered in this regard. Meanwhile, A Tata Sumo bearing Regt No: JK03/3809 was hit by one unidentified vehicle near Joinery Mills Pampore on Jammu Srinagar National highway. The Sumo was on its way from Jammu to Srinagar. Sources said that the Driver of the Sumo along with three passengers were critically injured. The injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard and investigations have been taken up. The identification of the injured persons was yet to be ascertained.
