| Nanak Nagar residents concerned over JMC's nonchalance | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 11: A meeting of Sector No. 11, Nanak Nagar Jammu was held under the chairmanship of Sardar Narinder Singh Raina, senior PDP leader which was organized by S.Tarlok Singh (Kala) and Bhola.
The problems of the area were highlighted by the inhabitants. The main demand of the people of the area was that the Nallah in Sector No. 11 which effects about 400-500 houses of the area generally over - flow during rainy season and the water of the Nallah gushes into the houses of the people and the foul smell causes epidemic diseases and destroys their house hold articles causes huge losses to the inhabitants. While speaking on the occasion S Narinder Singh Raina said that the PDP will do its utmost to solve the problems of the inhabitants and also warned the Jammu Municipal Corporation authorities to immediately take remedial measures to repair this Nallah otherwise people of the area will come on the road and JMC shall be responsible for dire consequences. |
