| MV International School celebrates annual day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 12: MV International School celebrated its annual day with great fervour and zeal, in which students, parents and faculty members of the school participated enthusiastically.
On the occasion, Raman Bhalla, Minister for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation was the chief guest.
The programme began with lightning of lamp by the Minister.
Avinash Mahajan, Vice Principal of the school presented the welcome address followed by Annual Report highlighting the achievements of the students in various curricular and co- curricular activities held in the school during current session.
On the occasion, a colourful programme of cultural activities depicting the theme 'World Peace' was beautifully presented by the students that lifted the mood of the event thus making every one cheer. The performance made by the students was highly appreciated by the audience.
The students performed par excellence in all the items presented like Umbrella dance , Salsa dance, Glimpses of the world and Ribbon dance and many such items. Krishan Leela which was performed by students of MVIS was breath taking and such item was one of its own kinds which could only be seen on the silver screen. The audience gave a standing ovation to this item.
While speaking on the occasion, Raman Bhalla applauded the efforts of management, staff and students for organizing the function and also appreciated the students for the performances in curricular and co-curricular activities. He also appreciated the contribution of the parents towards development and success of the students.
Gourav Abrol, Director MV International School in his speech thanked all the guests and dignitaries for making the occasion really meaningful. He stressed upon the students to work honestly and with dedication to achieve their desired goal. |
